After class I walked all over la ciudad. Today is a day of protest for the university students and most are participating in a parade with hoods that cover their faces and their majors embroidered on the side. They look like clan masks and a magazine i found in English said that the masks are to commemorate a time when open participation was very dangerous.

The market at the North Eastern part of the city was like the swap meet back home accept with more people, less space to walk, more used goods, more fresh food, and lots of meat out in the open.

There’s an American student a few feet away losing her mind on Skype with her boyfriend or girlfriend. It’s pretty districting so I think I’ll go grab dinner.
